P5
FINAL ANIMATION
PROBLEMS/WHAT WAS DONE TO RESOLVE THEM
Overall, with the production, I did not experience any major functional problems, however there were a couple of issues which were either resolved or justified. Some of these issues were due to the set whereas others were due to technical issues.
Examples of this includes:
Problem 1:
I struggled to move the character along while keeping my phone in a fixed position due to me being the only one doing all these roles as well as me not having a tripod to hold the phone in place.
Solved/justified:
The lamp had a clamp along with this, so I attached my phone to the clamp then stuck this down using blue tac to keep the phone fixed in place.
Problem 2:
The set was too small so when filming, some of the background had to be in the shot.
Solved/justified:
Even though the set didn't go to plan, I was still able to film the production successfully and produce a stop motion animation.
Problem:
Due to the lamp being a light source and a tripod, the lighting was not in the centre of the production throughout (I noticed this as I was editing and could not film a replacement due to the character already being chopped up and me not having the resources to recreate the character).
Solved/justified:
Even though the light messed up slightly, I was still able to film the production successfully and produce a stop motion animation.
